The cabinet was waiting for the trash truck. Inside were taped all the handwritten remedies and medical instructions any of us might have taped in our own bathrooms somewhere. I reconfigured the cabinet into the triptych to honor all the houses up and down the block, with all their ailments and remedies inside.
