Chrysalis Project
Sixty years of photographs, collected and protected by my mother in 48 thick albums: our childhoods and family life, through her eyes. When the time came to let go of the albums I pulled out the photos of me, and hung them on threads. My many caterpillar stages, as seen through her eyes. I gathered and wrapped them into a bundle, a chrysalis. It's still hanging, still protecting the transformations within, waiting to see what emerges in this latest chapter of life.
