Past Present
A selection of recent work created by restructuring and reusing my own past: artworks, journal pages, family photographs, and objects collected and made over the last fifty years. By cutting, layering, obscuring, and reassembling these materials, I'm challenging the identities I sought to define and defend in earlier works, loosening the grip on self. Rather than constructing identity, I am now interested in what remains after deconstruction. What emerges when certainty dissolves? What becomes possible when the need to define gives way to curiosity?
